Children's Book Festival 2013

On Thursday 21st March, the children in Grade 3 and 4 went to the Children's Book Festival. We travelled into the city by train and then walked to the library. We worked with Bronwyn Bancroft. We saw a play by the 'Story Thieves'. After that we had a look through the Library. My favourite part of the day was making the collage.

How do celebrations help us to learn about ourselves and others?

Last week, we were discussing celebrations that we celebrate with our families or that we had been a part of. We made a list of celebrations that we have heard about and sorted them into groups - personal celebrations, national celebrations, religious celebrations, state celebrations and global celebrations.
